Whoa Mona Lisa, you’re guaranteed to run this town
Whoa Mona Lisa I’d pay to see you frownToday's cover from a user called kDmitz. He plays and sings at the same time, which I think has a certain level of difficulty involved here. Panic at the Disco isn't the easiest band to cover around here, but the attempts posted are quite good. I like the way he sings, not a falsetto, not blatant yelling, and the lyrics come out clearer than the original by panic!, which is a good cover. There are a couple of covers posted, as well as original compositions, SOMEONE sign these people up.
This song is really sick. I first caught a snippet of it playing from a car stereo, and the tune got stuck on my head. Then their new album was being reviewed on TV, and I realized I had "Pretty Odd" in my CDs. But then again, I have a bit too many (there are no repeats, just some I don't listen to and no idea why I bought in the first place. Anyone wants a Snow Patrol Up To Now? I only have 1 copy, just tore out the protective plastic to rip the tracks, and it's been in my cupboard ever since. Leave your address in the comments, I'll mail it to you.)
Here's the boys performing "The Ballad Of Mona Lisa" in Union Square Best Buy in NYC
Gimme a sign, I wanna believe.. That sounds like straight from the X files, eh?
