It's Wednesday, and I'm making a list of cities to visit in January.
I have only 4 weekends left in January before I go back, and I have yet to go east or north for that matter. I hope to cover:
I would like to cover 20 cities to round it up, but I think what I had was a pretty good run. Including the 4 covered outside Germany (Amsterdam, Prague, Zermatt and Zurich), which makes it 17 in total, and add another for London.
For having set foot in Europe for the first time, it has been a pretty good experience. Although I didn't go to Vienna and some weekends slacking in my room, it was the best I could manage, given that I tried 3 cities in 2 days thing, but it was really, really tiring even though I could cover more in the same bit of time.
Right, just follow this checklist, and that's all I will cover. Hope I don't have to start dishing out travel advice when I go home.
And being so used to buy a ticket and going to a random city, I need to replace my train tickets with air tickets if I want to travel round, book hotels, and all that.
Europe is really, really easy to travel around. If I had a year I would've been able to cover the main cities as well as the borders. Or find myself a country with a decent rail system so I can train my way. US sounds like a good place, Taiwan as well, but I'm not going to try China so soon yet. Next time I'm just gonna skip the planes. Train anywhere and everywhere.
My trip advisor map awaits me. It now stands at 7%. I want to hit 10% before I'm 21.
