I'm watching this show, believe it or not. I've heard of the legendary Jesse James, his life of crime and the speed of his fingers. This is about the life of him, right until his assassination.
I will watch Public Enemies next. I have a soft spot for films about crime.. which is kinda unusual, I guess. This picture is a very, very long one, and stands at more than 2 hours long. Some scenes are not suitable for young audiences, so don't bring this to the next party gathering. Then again, don't show this film to your girlfriend/sister/mother/cousin if she hasn't watched anything like this before,(I watched the Godfather)or her movie taste lie in the range of disastrous chick flicks(Neither do I like chick flicks).
Girls should watch this if they want to toughen up so they can stand up to any guy in the movie theater. I started with V for Vendetta, and then I moved on, blah blah blah, you get the point.
The story gets confusing at times, given that the men look all the same to some degree, but the cinematography is great. There's a great use of brown, white, grey, blue, but you don't see red, orange, purple, pink or green around. The pace is rather drawn out, and everything starts to speed up towards the end of the film.
A great way to shake off your girlfriend if you need a little downtime from her constant whims and demands. Tough girls can use it to scare your boyfriends. A must watch for any fan of western, crime and history films.
