PUBLIC ENEMIES(2009)

Where Capt'n Jack Sparrow meets Batman. Johnny Depp is John Dillinger, a infamous outlaw in the roaring 30s who pulls of bank robberies with his felons like those old "hold ups" you see in old westerns.

Bale is Melvin Purvis, an agent with the FBI commissioned to take down the great Dillinger in their war against crime. There's blantant bank robbin', nameless shooting, unlimited press coverage, just about everything in the 1930s. Introduce Billie, and Dillinger's quite determined to let go off his life of crime and start life anew with her. Until Purvis catches wind of it and decides to end it, and Dillinger is shot right after leaving a theatre after a picture, which is a rather ironic metaphor of his life.

Well, since I've told you the ending, this is a pretty much serious show, with rather few scenes which lighten the mood of the show. A scene to pay more attention to is one where Dillinger and his accomplice visit a theater before another robbing. An announcement from the FBI comes on, and informs the patrons the ongoing war on crime and the wanted notice for J. Dillinger. The announcement then instructs them to "Look to your left. Look to your right. Look to the back" and pay more careful attention to their surroundings. Watch the show to see their reaction to the situation where you're wanted by the FBI and the whole of America is looking for you. You'll be very surprised.
