2nd day of Darmstadt. I have the uncanny ability to catch up anywhere. Went down to the Registar's office to do registration, filled in the form and I do not need another trip. Did insurance as well, went down to the office near the school to complete the numerous forms. Thank goodness I carried all the documentation with me.
And found someone who spoke english. Finding someone who speaks English well here is a gift, not a given right. I am in Germany, and it doesn't make sense for me to stay stubbornly at where I am and not make any changes to my life.
If that is the risk I made years ago, it sure pays off now. I get most of my life. It's a wish come true.
