Darmstadt - 42 - Frankfurt Bookfair Advertising ^^

That day. The day I'm starting to dread. To remind me who I should be holding close and who has been I've been blindly following.

Went to the book fair 2 days consecutively. There are many publishers, dealing with all sorts of books, different target audiences, types of books. It was scary walking in the bookfair, where more than half of the books in the language you do not read, but their books are all so nice:(

They have a great deal of postcards and name cards, and I went on a crazy rampage of some sort, collecting the ones i like, resulting in a collection of 30 over postcards. which I will mail out when I'm done writing in them.

I feel like I'm doing advertising, but you can find all the unorthodox shops here;

http://donkey-products.com/en/: They gave us a wooden iphone. And a biscuit one

 http://www.polamad.com/:

This shop deals with all the polaroid cameras, second hand but still in good condition:)
They have compiled a book out of polaroid shots as well as a calender, so feel free to buy it:)

Welcome to the wondrous world of the illumat.

How to work the machine:
1. Get "wish" paper
2. write down your wish
3. Insert coins of choice (This is important)
4. Wait for wish processing
5. Collect your wish paper and illustration!

I came a bit too late, so I ended up standing there for about half an hour. But it's a fantastic birthday present though.

You can find when these guys are in action next here. Pity the entire site is in German, but it's amazing how they understood what I was writing on the card.

These guys took a corner of the exhibition hall next to an entrance, and they have already gone global. The whole point is that they print this book:
Of which, I am very tempted to buy, given the comic book nut that I am.  And this one:
A collection of the front page of the Bild newspaper, for a special edition. Now why would I need a book showing the front pages of the newspaper when there's no news in it?

That's all for now, I hope to find more of such stores soon:)
