Curious people disappear for 2 reasons. One, they can't find their way back. Two, they did, but some jealous person had enough of their stories and decide to silence them once and for all.
And we call this place: Prague.
it was snowing. First time I ever seen snow.
Gourmet's guide to cheese, eat up everybody! You know it's good for you.Creepy balcony stand. Oh wait, is that...
Directly outside the parliment house. Now do you believe me it's snowing?
Prague in snow and fog, if this is the first taste of winter, damn I don't think i can see very clearly.
I like the crown, it's on the 1 KC coin too:) Walked around swearing not use any of them
That's how good/bad it was. As well as to add that it was freezing cold.
You can see the snow on the statues, the coat of white that they all wear.
Now I also do not dare to drive in weather like that.
The white of snow appears because each frozen raindrop looks transulcent. And put alot of translucent drops together and it appears to be white, explaining its white colour.
Undisturbed snow on top of the roof. I don't want to open the ceiling window and have all the snow drop on my head.
One of the buildings in the downtown area. The shops are at the ground level and the offices upstairs. It's a way of maximising rent.
A pity I don't read Czech. I can only understand the pictures and a little bit by pulling apart the part of words that look like English.
They have an awful lot of bookstores in the city. We counted 3 along one street, and they do have a good selection of books in English. Franz Kafka's books line the whole shelf.
You can see the falling snow on the bushes.
Chunk of snow fallen from somewhere. It's frozen rain, people! Normal rain hits a roof or umbrella and just rolls of easily, but snow lands and piles up.
And for all the people who deem "winter wonderland" who deem it the perfect Christmas, you might want to rethink that.
It's snowing, one of those days where it is out of the ordinary..
And the weird little bulb on th roof?
Entrance to a shopping arcade.
Glass stained roof seen from the interior. Reminds me of one of those jars that i have at home.
A statue inside the shopping center.
One of the shiny new glass buildings, looks like one of Singapore's shopping malls.
A local coffee shop with the typeface of starbucks. Check out the people pulling at their hoods and stuff.
Across the street. Cobblestones are everywhere, but it's good taste.
No doubt you can drive on Cobblestones, but I haven't tried and I can't drive.
A really fancy heating vent where air can escape from.
I don't know what building is that, and neither do I remember going towards it.
The city's motif (lions) are found everywhere. Having a Lion a city's crest is probably the norm here.
One of the many churches that line the streets of Prague. Unfortunately I can't identify this one as well.
We shall now draw the spotlight on the roof of the churches. Russian style, spiky top, and a dom at the bottom, prevents snow from accumulating from the top. Russia is prone to heavy snowfall, and this was a way to prevent the roof from collapsing. Now I'm very tempted to go to Russia.
A small lookout point, probably used in summer.
