Finally watched this show at last. I love this. I don't know how do they do it.
After a season of bad films showing on the screens, I decided to dig out some old files in my laptop and re watch them again. The show is beautifully crafted, thoroughly thought out, and effects are fantastic. However, it's kinda deep so movie goers who tend to pick shows for its easy storytelling, do not try this if your brains are sucked by the silver screen and returned afterwards.
This one needs you to think, and sometimes may question you on the perception of a reality and a dream. Mine got questioned many times throughout.
Eye candy factor? I wouldn't say this one is loaded with your hulking, manly, deep-voiced actor, but there is Joseph Gordon Levitt, who takes roles in the independent film scene. Ellen Page also plays a role as Ariadne, the new architect Cobb(DiCaprio) hires to build dream hardware(places). In the show, screen time is pretty spread out, so everyone gets their time in the spotlight and action sequences, but the story is still based on Cobb.
Although it's tuned to the right pitch, everything is absolutely perfect, many may find it hard to swallow, given the Nolan way of story-telling does not follow the normal Hollywood formula for sequence.
This show should be screened at the next gathering of intellectuals and nerds. Don't try this if you think rush hour hurts your brains or you can't remember when was the last time you tried to read a book that made sense.
