There is the army of the American pop singers threatening to invade each and every music device ever owned.
We have lost a warrior.
Rest In Peace, Amy. You have opened up my insight into the world of British artists and musicians, and showed me more than the alternative rock bands I love so much.
Here is a compilation of Amy's singles, listed in chronological order
"Stronger Than Me", launched in 2003 and off the album "Frank". Ms Winehouse looks very different back then compared to now, and frankly her voice remained all the same.
"Take the Box", the second single of "Frank". It's amazing how Frank was underrated for such a long period of time even though her voice is simply amazing. Can you sing like that?
3rd single of "Frank", "In my Bed"
She loves double A side singles, doesn't she? This one is "You sent me flying"
"Pumps". Bout women who degrade themselves just to appear irresistible to men. Hell I don't see why any woman should do that. It's ridiculousness and absurd.
"Help yourself", the last single of "Frank". The Winehouse we are all too familiar with is coming soon.
I know this song by heart. Pity I can't sing like her. I used to sing it every time something doesn't go my way/ I feel as though I'm fighting addiction. This song won 3 Grammys. Of course you should have heard of it somewhere.
"You know I'm no good". Sing to your boyfriend when you catch him cheating. The perfect revenge
Back to Black, the title track of her 2nd album. About a broken heart, the perfect song to sing in front of your ex. On how you won't be controlled by him any longer. My heart deserves a funeral like that too. I don't think my parents will be too pleased to learn about it.
This is "Tears dry on their own" I don't really like this song, but I love the locations they were shot in. Their location scouts did a really good job.
"Love is a losing game". Yes I agree very much with her. You're never gonna win in this silly little game
I love this song "Valerie". The original inspiration why I set up the music section of this lil'blog. Valerie was a song done The Zutons, and it's amazing how the cover by Amy Winehouse reached critical and commercial success.
Mutya Buena and Amy Winehouse in the collaboration "B Boy Baby". I like the style of the song, but I find it kinda strange that it didn't reach the commercial sucess. Rather, it's used in commercials.
Amy's last single, Just Friends. Nothing short of her raspy, powerful voice. We're all gonna miss her.
