THE MUPPETS(2011)

And you wonder what I do, well, this is what i do

Watched the Muppets today with my cousins. I don't remember squealing so much in a long while. It's strange how Disney bought over the Muppet Franchise. Thinking about it, it'll be strange to see Kermit next to Mickey Mouse. Or Miss Piggy next to Sleeping Beauty. That's a very scary thought.

The form of puppets I know are from a show called Sesame Street. Kermit was a bona-fide guest, and made his appearance on the show once in many, many episodes. And once my Dad was at home when Kermit came on, and he got really, really excited too. I guess the Muppets were since the 60s. 

But these people are seriously good. There's the typically choreographed dance moves, musical numbers, humor, and plenty of celebrity cameos. There's Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Neil Patrick Harris. Dave Grohl was on it too, just that I wasn't paying much attention to miss him. How could I have missed the lead singer of my favorite band?? 

There is a kinda sappy storyline, but I get really engrossed in the Muppets so I don't pay attention (That's how I missed Dave Grohl)I guess that brought out the childish streak again. 

Yes, they are really good. And no, I missed out too much on reality television. I quit TV to some degree, unless they're showing a movie I am interested in, that's when I watch it. Don't buy me a television set. I go without the television.


Oh well. Tomorrow's probably the last installation of the 3 day marathon. Night folks.
