First things first,
I don't have a twitter. Or a Formspring.
I don't even have time to go on Facebook.
I am never gonna understand it as well. There aren't that many interesting things running through my head. All I can make is some sarcastic comment about life and my mind is blank.
And you honestly don't want to know what's going through in my mind. It used to be math. Now, a mental map of singapore, a to-do list, a tune or 2, and stupid thoughts. Stupid thoughts about people who don't have any visible effect on my life. It's like I've turned into a busybody, poking my nose into the affairs of others.
I used to look forward reading the Sunday Lifestyle section. It used to highlight the different segments of society each week, the kind I never actually heard about, and it was interesting to read.. Until they featured a segment on couples who splurged excessively on weddings. Reckon it was too much for me to keep reading on how much they spend on a day event. I know it's none of my business, but all that figures flying in the tens of thousands range, money could have been put to better use.
And that made me realize, essentially, I'm just a regular busybody who loves poking her nose into other people's business. The worst part was that these people were regular folk, just like you and me. Why can't they run a section about people who have given back to society? Or about unsung heroes in our midst? Not on a bunch upper-class folk who decided to be outstanding in a less the considerable aspect.(wasting money on something trivial)
So even if I do have twitter, there aren't going to be many people for me to follow. I don't think I'm going to follow some mega pop stars and make a big deal out of it when they go insensitive on their followers and write about it in the newspapers. I would love to follow Ayn Rand. Just that she died some 30 years ago and there's nothing I can do about that.
I'm not going to pollute cyberspace with my incoherent thoughts. There's enough pollution already is.
