Darmstadt-34: Nuremberg

At what price do I pay to see the world? I have no idea.

This are shots that didn't make it to facebook, but they were shot in Numberg. Sit back and let the slide show begin!
Grand Hotel along the HBF, no we did not stay here

Bottom Ledge of a Balcony, Nuremberg.

Intricate Balcony railings

One of the church steeple frames

Sculpted Door entrance

Busker playing with a little girl. No, he's not scary,

Entrance to the pub of some sort.

It's the same busker outside the church

Stacked roof

Tree in front of 2 halves of a building.

Redken Hairdressing, Nuremberg

Light blue bicycle, Nuremberg
Open Window at the Hotel Deutschland Kaiser something,

Statue of a child,

Figure atop a statue, holding a sword and a set of scales

Lamp posts reflecting the morning light.

The explanatory  to the brand new, FENDER Kurt Cobain Jaguar *drool*

Free Advertising! Head on to the First Floor, an american-italian restaurant. The restaurant is on the first floor as well.

Shadow of a tree against the building wall

Statue on the bridge, morning light

Shadow of the tree.

Harley- Davidson motorcycle. I reckon to get myself one of these.

Beautiful, tiny, purple flowers.

Outside the Nuremberg HauptBahnHof

Inside the Dokumentary museum.

Glass roof of the museum

Half-completed rally stadium. Brr

Ceiling lights leading to another wing of the museum

At the entrance of the Museum, advertisement for a spa/resort

Nuremberg, Altstadt, near the castle

The same tower, but closer

Metallic Blue Vespa Scooter with white butterfly helmet.

A bridge built in honor of Leo Katzenberger.

I honestly can't remember who this guy is.

An old water pump, it doesn't work, only for tourists to stand next to it for photos.

A mosaic near the Farmer's Market

Lilies sold at the Market

A fountain in the corner of the market square. I call it the "Fountain of Kings", since the figures look like Kings to some degree.

Gigantic fake pastry by Jakob's Bakery

I don't know what are these, but they were up there.

A rather elaborate door entrance with a crest and statues. So much trouble just to go through a door.

A balcony

Red Paper house, with windows, door and roof.

A girl sitting at the top of a rock near the castle entrance.

Yellow bicycle parked along the street.

Top of the Castle tower, you need to pay to get in, but I'm useless at aerial photography,

Man sitting under a tree

Building walls covered in red vines.

It's the same red vines!

My first attempt at tilt-shift. The people still look like people, not toys.

Tree at the entrance of the castle

One of the buildings overlooking the Market square.

2 buildings, the one under construction as a sheet design that looks like the old builldings.

An clock outside a church.

Monchshof: Original Nurnberger Bratwursthaus

In Nuremberg's subway system, Altstadt station. 1, the subway station is not straight like a ruler. 2, there are no safety barriers to stop people from falling in. 3, there are no signs whatsoever saying that the trains run on electricity.

Nuremberg city subway system. Speed shot fail.

We now come to a place slightly outside the city center.

Along the streets, most of the houses here are very old.

Along ths treet again. You can see all the satellite dishes outside the windows.

It's the people restaurant!

Closer to our destination, and all the windows are of the same height, as well as the floors, doors, roof...

Welcome to Courtroom 600 interior, heart of the Nuremberg trials.

The entrance where the criminals were brought in. The figures at the entrance representi the 2 roots of German law, of which I cannot remember.

A scale model of the courtoom used. The gigantic board at the back was used to show the court maps, diagrams, engineering and structural plans used by the war criminals. Then again, I also cannot really remember who sat where.

One of a few lamps used to illuminate the surroundings.

Entrance to the Court, where Eve sits on the left and Adam on the right.

Back in the Altstadt for Dinner.
And that concludes the visual, commentary free of Nuremberg. Refer to your travel agent for more details.
