Isn't it the very irony we live with?
Last night certainly was an experience on a German train. My train was diverted to another town on the way to the next destination. Sat my seat with a table(I was lucky), started to do my long overdue origami.
I've taken trains more times I can count, and this was the first time something like that happened to me. I used to meet with train delays at the platforms, trains splitting at a particular town, trains that travel along being particularly empty (I love those), but that was the first time.
I reached back one hour later than expected, but I'm alright. I used to set to return at about 6pm on a Sunday so I can relax and unwind.
After a few trips I realized I didn't need that at all. Essentially when I came back early, I spent my time staring at the screen, not really relaxing.
Anyway it will be a long time before I can do this again. May the wishing come true.
