I can assure you one thing. You won't be wasting your money on this one.
This is the latest offering from the Steven Spielberg-Peter Jackson collaboration, nothing disappointing. Each frame took a good 5 hours to perfect, everything in the Tintin universe is captured and enclosed in a 107 minute show, leaves me begging for more.
The timing and comic relief of Thomson and Thompson provide humor needed during the less serious parts of the show, although some may not understand their branch of humor used. The show feels like a roller coaster ride without movement, and the opening credits and sequences pay tribute to Herge's original comic book series.
The film essentially combines 3 books into 1, The Secret of the Unicorn, Red Reckham's Treasure and The Crab with the Golden Claws. Along the way you would see many references to Tintin's other adventures, especially with the appearance of Bianca Castafiore. I wouldn't tell you which part came out of which book, just watch the show for yourself.
A must-watch for any Tintin fan. They should make a theme park out of his universe.
