Finally went to watch this show at last.
And the best part? It's very realistic. There is no mollycoddling, no magical, mysterious turn of events where things become better overnight. It's life, where things don't go the way you want them to be. Even though it hurts or falls short of your expectations, it's only normal.
I don't have cancer yet, but I believe Adam is a realistic portrayal of a cancer patient. The roller-coaster ride of emotions, chemotherapy, operations, it certainly is not easy for them to go through.
This is typical independent cinema, no Hollywood A-Listers, no big shot directors or producers, just a couple of people trying to tell a story about a road less-traveled. There are sexual references and coarse language, which gave it the mature rating, but beyond that, it is a good show.
There are character developments, and jokes to ease the tension of the story. It's light-hearted and funny, don't show it at your next family gathering, that's all I'm asking.
