So I am 20 now.
I haven't given much thought about it. Given last year's "fiasco", I thought I have learnt my lesson. Apparently, I never learn.
Firstly I'd like to thank my friends who took time out to celebrate my birthday for me. I'm very bad at such things, and surprising me was probably the easiest thing you guys have done (being not very sharp and abit confused at times).
I did spend time with people who matter to me, and that's enough for me.
Does being 20 count for something? I feel nothing different from 18 or 19, but its time I am allowed to really go after what I want. I've been doing that for a while now. Just that I'm not apt to shout it to the knowledge of the world.
My 3 goals for 20- 21:
1. To learn how to drive.
I am sick of being told that women can't drive without constantly switching lanes, being scared of speeding cars or driving on the wrong lanes. I will learn how to drive decently, to go on the roads to show that female drivers to can drive. It's just the male ones with lousy attitudes.
2. To dress decently.
I am not referring to as many labels as possible, but a la Parisian chic. Multi functional clothes that go well together in any combination. Whats quite frustrating is how this skirt can't go with this shirt. Also, I have too many threadless shirts. Whoops.
3. To get a perfect roll of film.
I always end up with overexposed / underexposed shots in each roll that I have. For once, I would like a entire roll of perfect exposures. Which also means I need to continue experimenting with my camera. Also, overexposed / underexposed shots in an Ilford is not a good thing, it ruins the entire roll.
new additional goal in life: Magnum photographer.
I thank everyone for their birthday wishes and presents and time with me, but I seem to prefer time more than anything else.
Also, I need to finish my film. Can't wait for the middle portions.
