Cross Country to Zermatt.
My dad always warned me about boarding the wrong train carriage while travelling in Europe. Now I understand what he means.
They do load cars travelling in the same direction together, and when the paths diverge they are split apart. So wrong carriage = wrong direction = wrong destination
And everything would seem fine at first. We were really lucky. Another thing was that the trains never displayed the course of the route, and you knew that this train would go to the place you wanted to go, but you never knew how long it took. It's like taking the MRT and one day the display panel showing all the stops stopped working and you had to rely on announcements. To make things worse you don't know what is the order of stops or the time needed to get between them.
The pictures are all up on facebook, and I shall not bore you with them. I think being sent here forces me to work on my photography on quite a bit. As well as looking presentable and photo-friendly. I do not dare to dress sloppily.
Zermatt is beautiful for being hiker friendly. And being absolutely lovely.
Due to my extremely limited broadband limit I am unable to upload all the originals here. Please feel free to click through the entire album. I am only an amateur photographer. I do my best.
